Recent years have witnessed widespread use of computers and their interconnecting networks. This demands additional computer security measures to protect the information and relevant systems. This course provides an overview of security challenges and strategies of countermeasure in the information systems environment. Topics include definition of terms, concepts, elements, and goals incorporating industry standards and practices with a focus on confidentiality, availability, and integrity aspects of information systems.
