This interactive course equips learners with skills to de-escalate individuals in crisis while maintaining safety, compassion, and professionalism. Participants will learn evidence-based de-escalation techniques designed to reduce tension, enhance communication, and build trust with individuals in distress. Emphasis will be placed on emotional regulation strategies to help learners remain calm and responsive, even in high-stress situations.
Through case studies, role-playing, and reflective exercises, learners will develop a deeper understanding of crisis dynamics and practice techniques rooted in non-violent crisis resolution. By the end of the course, participants will be able to recognize early signs of escalation, apply appropriate interventions, and develop greater self-awareness to effectively manage their own responses.
