EA-122: Supporting Educational Domains provides Education Assistant students with essential knowledge on supporting children and adolescents with various disorders, syndromes, disabilities, and challenges. Through a strength-based approach, learners explore strategies to foster an inclusive environment that addresses social, cultural, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs. By the end of this course, students will identify characteristics of different conditions, understand how these impact learning, and apply targeted strategies for successful classroom support. Using case studies, students will practice observational techniques to recognize and build on each child's strengths, ultimately creating supportive learning environments that promote engagement and success for diverse learners.
