Welcome to Business Law - Experiential Version
This section of Business Law offers students an interactive learning semester that is unique due to the Moot Court debates. What are these? Students working in cohort teams (the same teams throughout the course) will learn to prepare legal briefs based on current legal issues in business and then teams will debate against each other in class. This form of learning will help you learn the key areas of business law in the course outline. It will also assist students in the course competencies of critical thinking (analysis of the facts and legal issue identification), creativity (making arguments to support both sides of the legal issue), communications (writing a legal brief and then actively debating it in front of classmates), collaboration (learning to work in a cohesive team) and community (learning about business situations common to the business).
