An Introduction to Trauma Informed Practice. This is the first course in the series of four courses to earn the Trauma Informed Practice Micro-credential. Learners will gain an understanding of the definition of trauma and related terms. This course will introduce a brief history of trauma informed practice and its value in modern-day professional settings. Learners will engage in activities to build resilience and promote growth. There are several trauma informed practice skill application activities throughout the course. By the end of the course, learners will have a basic understanding of how to apply trauma-informed practice in a professional setting.
