Students are introduced to the fundamentals of business cases and Intellectual Property Law. Students conduct feasibility studies that review the functional, technical and operational feasibility of a service or product proposed to the construction industry. Students also conduct an economic analysis of whole life costs, simple paybacks and life cycle assessments in order to assess the financial, environmental, and social impacts of the proposed service or product.
