In this course, learners examine the fundamental techniques and elements of closed-loop feedback control systems. Topics include sensors and actuators, control system modeling and responses, servomechanisms, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Learners analyze and model real world systems in both open loop and closed loop configurations which focusing on characterization of control system performance and response. Laboratory sessions provide learners with an opportunity to verify electronic circuit theory by building and testing circuits using standard components and instruments
