Course materials will amplify the voices and scholarly perspectives of prominent Indigenous academics, filmmakers, leaders, and activists to engage decolonized and transformative understandings of relationships and responsibilities, Indigenous Peoples’ title and rights, and the unilateral imposition of colonial legislation in the making of the colonial nation state of Canada. The course will also explore Indigenous Peoples’ perspectives on decolonization, reconciliation, and resurgence.
